I had the honor of collaborating with World of Women and Johnnie Walker on an exciting project for Art Basel Miami. World of Women (WOW) approached me to create a sculpture of the iconic Johnnie Walker bottle with a World of Women theme. I jumped at the opportunity and immediately began brainstorming ideas for how to bring the theme to life.
The creative process was a true joy, as I experimented with different techniques like creating my design in 3D in Procreate. After the design was approved, I started to paint the sculpture. First I primed the parts I was going to add color and put tape on the parts I wanted to keep gold. I incorporated the color palette and some elements of the WOW brand into the design of the sculpture.
One of the highlights of the project was seeing my sculpture come to life in the lobby of the Surfcomber Hotel in Miami Beach. The sculpture was displayed at the Art Basel Gala, where it was admired by guests and art enthusiasts from all over the world.
It was an honor to be a part of such a significant event and to have my artwork displayed in such a prestigious location. I am so grateful to World of Women and Johnnie Walker for this opportunity, and I look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.
It's amazing to see how it all came together in the end. Thanks to everyone who supported me in this project, it was a truly unforgettable experience.
