Recently I had the chance to teach a course about creativity to children between
the ages of 8 and 10 here in Miami. Thanks to a mother who insisted that I share my knowledge to her daughter and friends, I finally said ok yes!
Having doubts on teaching a totally new app called Procreate to these kids, I was a bit scared on the first day. I had a hard time structuring the course for kids on an iPad, but I was surprised to see the girls handling the software in such a natural way..
They learned to use the app, making illustrations , gifs, and traditional animation. The experience was so amazing that I want to keep on teaching not only children but people of all ages as well.
